You are so lucky to live so close to a lake. I'm surprised you don't have your tent pitched out there. :) How far is it from the Island to Grand Prairie? Probably almost as far as to Saskatoon. The thing about going to see family...if we come out there you only get to see one family, but if you come out here you get to see a whole bunch of your family. Get the picture?
Ooh, nice!! How awesome to live right by the lake. And your grass is so fresh and green! Not so much here. But then again, with my yard, everything is just plain ugly.
Hi thanks for the comments. By the way, the beautiful lake behind our house is really just a creek that they dug out for fill dirt when they developed our subdivision. It is more like a pond but the geese, ducks and other birds still come to swim and it makes for a nicer view out of our back yard.
Wow, the sky looks so so pretty in these pictures. I too cannot believe how big all my cousins are. I still think we should be having gatherings at grandma and grandpa's house and I should have to sit at that little folding table in the basement...Strange.
Nice to see the place where you live. Margaret finally gave us your picture last night when we were at David and Carolyn's for John and Chris's last night here.
Holy cow the kids have grown, course I know ours have too. It's great to be able to chat with you via blogger.
I can't believe I have been carrynig that picture in my purse all these weeks! I probably wouldn't have given it to you even then except that you brought out a different picture and it reminded me of that picture. Hey. I'm a Braun. Not really an excuse, but it could be a reason for being forgetful.
